Dr. Jason Taporco, MD, CAQSM
Dr. Jason Taporco, MD, CAQSM, is a dual board-certified physician in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine with a strong commitment to promoting health, functional movement, and safe athletic performance. Born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, Dr. Taporco completed his undergraduate studies locally before earning his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2021.
After medical school, he moved to Denison, Texas to complete his residency training in Family Medicine, where he came to call the Texoma region home. He later pursued advanced subspecialty training in Sports Medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson, gaining additional expertise in musculoskeletal care, injury prevention, and athlete wellness.
A former competitive volleyball and soccer player, Dr. Taporco remains passionate about fitness. He is now an avid weightlifter and bodybuilder and can often be found training at Nautilus Family Fitness. Outside of medicine and athletics, he enjoys motorcycling on sunny days, line dancing, and country music.

Laurel Barnet, MS, RN, NP-C
Laurel Barnet has been a nurse practitioner since 1997 and has worked alongside Dr. Craig for over 16 years. In her early career as a registered nurse, she worked in the neonatal ICU, pediatrics, postpartum, newborn nursery, and childbirth education. As a nurse practitioner, Laurel has experience in occupational medicine and obstetrics/gynecology but has a special interest in family medicine. She lives on a small farm with her husband and son, where she enjoys time with friends, church activities, and kayaking. Barnet works hard to establish meaningful long-term relationships because “the best way to optimize healthcare is to partner with your patients”.
Jacob K. Davis, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, CLS
Jacob Davis was one of the first Nurse practitioners in the nation to be awarded the diplomate status with the Accreditation Council for Clinical Lipidology (ACCL). He has worked under Dr. Grant Craig for the past 6 years and has developed a passion for managing chronic illnesses such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and lipid disorders. Outside of family time, Davis enjoys reading, attending concerts, traveling, and horseback riding.
Melody Barker, FNP-C
Melody Barker graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington from 2007 to 2010. As a certified Family Nurse Practitioner, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice. Melody is a highly respected member of our team, known for her clinical excellence, professionalism, and genuine commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Lauren Kirby, FNP-C
Lauren is a dedicated and compassionate Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. With a strong focus on preventative health, chronic disease management, and personalized treatment plans, Lauren works closely with patients to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.
Michelle Carney- Office Manager
Michelle Carney is the friendly and efficient heartbeat of our clinic, serving as our dedicated Office Manager. With extensive experience in healthcare administration and a genuine passion for patient care, Michelle ensures that our operations run smoothly. She provides each patient with a seamless and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive. She manages the day-to-day functions of the clinic, including scheduling, patient services, insurance coordination, and staff support. Renowned for her warm demeanor, meticulous attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities, Michelle consistently supports both patients and staff with professionalism and compassion.
